Jamnagar, Gujarat: A fighter jet crashed on the outskirts of Jamnagar late Wednesday night, resulting in the tragic death of one pilot and leaving another critically injured. The incident occurred near Suvarda village on Kalavad Road, sending shockwaves through the region.
According to initial reports, the fighter jet broke into multiple pieces upon impact and caught fire immediately. Local authorities, police, and emergency responders swiftly reached the crash site to assess the situation and provide assistance.

Eyewitness Account & Immediate Response
Eyewitnesses reported seeing flames and smoke billowing from the wreckage, with villagers rushing to the scene before authorities arrived. The crash site has since been cordoned off as officials investigate the cause of the accident.
Recent Similar Incidents
This is not the first such incident in recent months. On March 7, an Indian Air Force Jaguar fighter jet crashed in Haryana’s Panchkula due to a technical failure after taking off from the Ambala airbase for a training mission. Fortunately, the pilot ejected safely.
On the same day, a Russian-origin AN-32 transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force also crashed while landing in Bagdogra, West Bengal.
